How to fix the issue "No authenticators available" with Mutt in Fedora

When I tried sending an e-mail message using my client Mutt in Fedora, I was met with this message:
No authenticators available
It turns out that I needed to install the package cyrus-sasl-plain for Mutt to work with my host Gandi. The cyrus-sasl-plain package contains the Cyrus SASL plugins which support PLAIN and LOGIN authentication schemes. I happen to use the LOGIN authentication.
